PLAY EcoEarth Bottle Drive
On April 5th, PLAY EcoEarth collected recyclable bottles from volunteers and sorted them into categories like glass and plastic bottles. Afterwards, the sorted bottles were bagged, loaded, and brought to the Livermore Recycling Center. $200 worth of funds was raised from these bottle donations and used to support the Kids Against Hunger event. Additional CA CRV-labeled bottles, mainly plastic and cans, are being collected between May 1st and June 15th for a future drive. They are to be put in 13-gallon garbage bags, rinsed and cleaned, and dropped off at the driveway of 3160 Snowdrop Circle, Pleasanton. Volunteers will be given 1 hour per full garbage bag, so please contribute, as money raised will be used to support PLAY members’ volunteering activities. Thank you so much for the help!
